La Fosse set out to remove long‑standing operational and financial constraints caused by fragmented system integrations. While Bullhorn and RSM InTime were connected for timesheet processing, the lack of a full, bi‑directional integration – including NetSuite – created challenges around visibility, scalability, and financial control. In particular, La Fosse needed to support multiple business entities and multi‑currency invoicing, both of which were critical to supporting more complex Statement of Work (SOW) engagements.
The objective of the project was to design and deliver a robust two‑way API data sync between Bullhorn, InTime and NetSuite, creating a single, reliable data flow across recruitment operations, time capture and finance. This integration would remove manual workarounds, improve data accuracy, and enable La Fosse to offer a fully operational SOW solution at scale.
La Fosse is a leading technology and digital talent partner, working with organisations across the UK and internationally to build high‑performing technology teams. Operating across multiple disciplines and delivery models – including permanent, contract and project‑based engagements – La Fosse relies on a sophisticated technology stack to support consultants, operations and finance teams.
As the business continued to scale and diversify its service offerings, it became essential that La Fosse’s core platforms – Bullhorn (CRM/ATS), RSM InTime (time & billing) and NetSuite (finance) – worked seamlessly together. Any gaps in data flow directly impacted billing accuracy, operational efficiency, and the ability to deliver more advanced client solutions such as SOW engagements.
The discovery phase identified that the existing integration landscape was heavily constrained. Bullhorn and InTime were connected primarily for contractor timesheets, but the connection was largely one‑directional and did not extend cleanly into NetSuite. This resulted in several critical issues:
Further analysis highlighted that historical mapping decisions and overly complex documentation made it difficult for non‑technical teams to understand or maintain the integration. This increased operational risk and slowed down change. Addressing these challenges required not just new integrations, but a clear, well‑documented and future‑proofed data model across all three platforms.
The project focused on building a clean, well‑governed, two‑way API integration between Bullhorn, InTime and NetSuite. This included:
By simplifying and rationalising the data mappings, La Fosse reduced dependency on manual fixes and batch checks, while increasing confidence in the accuracy of financial and operational data. The result was a scalable foundation that could support future automation, analytics and new service offerings.
The outcome of the project has been transformational. La Fosse now operates with a fully integrated Bullhorn–InTime–NetSuite ecosystem, enabling consistent data flow from placement creation through to invoicing and financial reporting. Key outcomes include:
Most importantly, this work has enabled La Fosse to offer a full Statement of Work (SOW) solution, underpinned by systems that can support the commercial, operational and financial complexity that SOW engagements require. The integration has not only solved immediate challenges but has laid the groundwork for continued growth, automation and innovation across the business.

Our case study below is the first in a 3 Phase Project for this client. Our clients are keen to adopt AI and Automation technology but their database(s) and staff training on data management need to be improved before this can happen. The first Phase is setting the foundation so the business will only ever import good Candidate and Client data into their systems. Showing staff the benefits of this is key so we take time to work with businesses at all levels to train them on good data usage. In the case study below you'll see how we use existing systems to make their business data much more effective. Phase Two will be the implementation of Bullhorn Automation into their business, with Phase Three focusing on the development of those Automated Tasks.
Insite Public Practice Recruitment are a successful team of Recruiters based in Hertfordshire, they have 5 key brands in the group that cover Permanent, Contract, Retained and also International Recruitment. They have invest in many different technologies over the year and are keen to utilise them better, creating better ROI, more placements, but also cost savings. They currently have two individual Bullhorn environments.
We started with a full-day Tech Stack Review, these allow us to work with staff from all levels, not just SLT Board Members, to establish; where improvements can be made, what’s working well and what potential future investments might be required. A full report was written and shared with the board and after a meeting to discuss the objectives, time was booked to start the project.
It was clear that this business have a great work ethos and everyone is keen to be better, their leaders and fantastic supporting back office team inspire and encourage their teams to keep pushing that little bit more each week and reflect on those improvements. Aside from the main project we gave some advice to individuals around using their Bullhorn environment in a more effective way, saving each Recruiter in the business at least 45 mins/week by simply changing their approach to booking interviews. They are excited about Automation and AI and want to invest but we identified that their Bullhorn database would need some work before heading down this avenue. We agreed they should definitely invest in Bullhorn Automation, but not quite yet.
There was a previous Broadbean contract in place, but didn’t include CV Parsing or Searching functions, we identified that getting good data from the multiple Job Boards and LinkedIn at source would help them grow a strong database for each brand and start them on their journey to Automation. The business is keen to market each brand independently so we set about creating templates for Job Boards, Email Signatures, Messaging and LinkedIn so we knew that with no extra effort from the Consultants that the message from each Business Unit would be consistent and effective but most of all correct. Their new website doesn’t currently have Job adverts being posted so we started the integration process here. This will not only help bring more Candidates to them but also enhance their brand status further.
“We used Broadbean at my previous business, but didn’t get much success from it, I can see already see how your approach is bringing us many more good Candidates to apply for our roles” – Joe West, Business Director - Finance
LinkedIn Recruiter features across the business so we set about integrating this with Bullhorn, allowing the Consultants to Export data directly from their Recruiter Dashboards, straight into Bullhorn will create a “One version of the Truth” reducing the risk in overlap of messaging from the Consultants, they can now see all Emails, InMails and Notes against individual Candidate Records. A hugely powerful and FREE tool can work wonders if used correctly, using tools like this allow for much better data to flow into the ATS further enhancing the preparation for Automation.
The final piece of this project was an enhancement and tidy of their Bullhorn database structure, the business spends a lot of time coding Candidates and Clients so the fields need to be in places that makes sense to the Consultants and allows for slicker workflows through the system, spending time with the teams on the ground is important to ensure that time isn’t wasted. A rework of Field Mappings, Layouts and Screens was in order. Once all of this complete we rolled everything into a training day so everyone in the business was aware of what had been achieved, what the expectations are but most importantly, showing them ALL how to get the most out of these new systems and processes to make their lives better.
"Our new Candidates in Bullhorn are much easier to find compared to the previous ones, whenever we have a new role we're now searching our database first before looking online" - Senior Recruitment Consultant, IT
It has only been 2 weeks since they went live with the above and already seeing a huge improvement in the quality of data, we originally set ourselves a 4 month target of data enhancement before implementing Automation, but the excitement from the business and the quality of work now being produced means we’ve already started the conversations on adding Bullhorn Automation to the business.
